Aroma 2-Slice Cool Touch Toasters

It toast to perfection. Is wide enough to toast bagels. Toasts evenly, no need to pop it out & turn the bread over as in other toasters. I'm pretty sure this toaster can take every bit of moisture out of the bread without burning it. I like that. No more half toasted half burned spots as with my last toaster which by the way I'm glad it broke, so that I can now know what it's like to have a true toaster.
The only drawback is the way they chose to "apply" the metallic red color. It's like they foiled it on. After 5 days, it has peeled & cracked in two different places. It's not due to anything I've done, just a poor choice on the manufacturers part of "coloring the toaster. On the up side, the toaster is red underneath the "red foil".
I'm keepin it because A). I need my toaster B). It would be a redundant hassle to ship it back for a replacement that is "foil colored" the same way. Even though I am not into the shabby chic look, with the shape of this toaster, the...Read more

This is an excellent product. It's very nice and retro looking and works really well. I love the fact that it has a cancel button so anytime you want to stop the toasting process, you hit the button and the bread pops up. My last toaster did not have this feature so I am very pleased.

I'd never put any thought into buying a toaster before... which is probably why my old one didn't meet my needs. (It made toast, but that's it. It also mangled my English muffins and sparked randomly).

After a little more research, I found my red Aroma toaster. It does all of the things I want a toaster to do. My English muffins no longer get "trapped" on the way up and for the first time ever, I can toast bagels and they come out the right texture. The money I save on weekend trips to the local bagel shop will soon pay for this little gem! (And I'll never again have to pretend that microwaving a bagel counts). I love the cancel button too; if I think the toast is done, I don't have to try to coerce the lever into moving.

The color is actually a bonus. My "new" house has retro looking red ceramic tiles on the wall, that I'm not about to replace any time soon, and this toaster actually looks good sitting out. And the free shipping sealed the deal!
