Betty Crocker Appliances BR-602U Red 2-Slice Toaster

Sadly, this little beauty's good looks are skin deep. In the dozen or so times I've used it since it was delivered at the end of December, the poor thing has not toasted anything even close to evenly. At first, I figured it just needed to be used, but today when it toasted one side of a single slice and left the other side still soft bread, I knew it had to go back. I just asked the seller for a Return Authorization number. Too bad. It looks so nice sitting on the counter. I'll miss it. (Sniff)

I'm highly disappointed in this toaster! When you make toast the first few times it works like a charm... then about day five I went to make four slices of toast on a medium setting (dail setting 3½ out of 6) -the first two and then went to put two more and had to wait until the toaster COMPLETELY cooled down before it would allow me to make the other two pieces. Also, it toasts the bread darker on one side of the bread than the other side.

The toaster is a beautiful appliance as far as appearances and it matches the coffeemaker (which works perfectly) but the toaster is a dud.

It was a gift and they seem delighted with it,my daughters exact words were Good ole Betty Crocker.The right size for their needs and they wanted red.I ordered this from a small village in Ireland online to be sent to the USA and they recieved it within the week.Plus i got it on prime no delivery cost either.
