Interesting Design that should have never been made, December 29, 2011

I must say this is one of those ideas that should have never left the design stage. Essentially it is exactly what you would imagine, a open air heating element with a fine mesh grill across it. It toasts one side at a time, essentially doubling the time vs a normal toaster. Additionally it is extremely easy to burn yourself on this thing. Not to mention if you have little kids in your house. Avoid this item and stick with the traditional Bodum toaster, that is a quality product.
