Cuisinart CPT-140 Toaster, 4 Slice

Comment: I purchased a Cuisinart electronic cool touch 4-slice black toaster. Im very pleased with the product.Great price and shipping was free. I will continue shopping on line with amazon.com.Much nicer than what the picture showed.

Comment: I replaced my VERY slow Krups 4 slice toaster with this Cuisinart.
It toasts very quickly, pretty evenly and I like the size and look of it.
I took away a star because I don't like having to unplug it after each use.
For the price, it was a very good value and I am happy with this purchase.

Comment: I received this toaster as a gift, and it has been a delight from day one. Granted, I've owned it for less than six months, and I use it only for toast (I am not a bagel fan), but the ease of use and quality of the toasted bread (from very light to very dark) is excellent. In addition to morning toast, I also use it to make toast for grilled cheese sandwiches. (I don't like to do them in the pan anymore as the amount of butter and oil needed is excessive, so what I do is toast the bread, grate the cheese, add a bit of butter, and microwave it. Still the same delicious sandwich with much less fat.)

So far it has worked like a charm. The crumb tray is a breeze to empty and clean, and the toaster itself is solid. Since I don't like having a lot of appliances on my counters, I like the fact that aside from its solidity it is sufficiently lightweight that I can move it from its cabinet storage to the counter and back again quickly. It works very well for me, and you can't ask a toaster to do more than that.

Comment: I absolutely loved this can opener at first. Then, less than 6 months after I purchased it, the right side started toasting unevenly. The funny thing is I got rid of my 2 slice toaster for this 4 slice toster only to be stuck with a 4 slice toaster that only works as a 2 slice. I'm going to call Cuisinart and let them know how bad their product is. I see many people have the same issue. Don't buy this toaster! Keep looking!

Comment: In less than 6 months, one side just stopped working. It did not take long before the middle hitter of the other side was gone too. Always thought Cuisinart have higher quality products. Was probably wrong ... I am so sorry did not read reviews before this purchase.
