With digital controls including a clock/timer, this 1,500-watt countertop convection oven provides a temperature range of 140 to 450 degrees F for roasting, baking, broiling, and even defrosting and dehydrating. Because it circulates hot air, the oven cooks faster and more uniformly than a conventional oven. It also toasts bread, bagels, English muffins, and sandwiches, with seven browning settings for precise control. The oven's 0.5-cubic-foot interior accommodates a 9-inch pie or six slices of toast. With two wire racks instead of the usual one, it also holds two sheets of cookies, and there's a preprogrammed cookie-baking time-and-temperature setting for one-touch convenience. Included with the oven are two aluminum cookie sheets that fit on the racks as well as an enamel baking pan with a broil insert. The interior, illuminated by a light and visible through the oven's glass door, is enamel for easy cleaning. A slide-out crumb tray also eases cleaning. The exterior is white steel with black steel and synthetic accents. The oven measures 18 inches wide, 8-1/2 inches high, and 12-1/2 inches deep and carries a one-year warranty against defects. --Fred Brack
