This is a piece of junk, to put it midly. All the negative reviews are true. I used it for a month and the company refused to make good on it. Leaky, basaket wouldn't drain, lukewarm coffee after anout an hour, and it took forever to brew (about 25 minutes). I finally threw it out after 2 months of use and bought a thermal carafe Bunn. Now that's a great machine!

I bought this machine at Lowes for around $26.00--it was being clearanced out and now I know why! It worked correctly for the first week, then the aroma button quit working and when it quit working, it shuts the whole brew cycle off. I own my own garden center and when I want to have a cup of java on break, I expect the coffee to be there after setting it up and then coming back for it. I just quit using the aroma button and went with the "normal" brew cycle. That function quit working when I poured only 4 cups of water into the machine. It would brew about a cup and shut off. I started adding a little more water and it has been o.k. as far as brewing goes. Sure miss that aroma button, though. It saturates the grounds before actual brewing begins. I must say I will never buy another thermal carafe coffee maker. If you set it up the night before or don't pre-warm the carafe before brewing, you will have to nuke your cup of coffee to get it hot, especially if you use a cold creamer like...Read more

Very easy to use! Coffee tastes great! I have made coffee at 6 am - come home on my lunch break to hot coffee!

The only draw back is if you don't have the filter in correctly it may over flow, but I just double cdheck this now and have had no problems with it since.
