Summary: small but powerful 2008-08-15
Comment: This toaster oven is great if you're looking for one that doesn't take up too much space and want fast cooking and toasting especially when trying to get out in the morning without waiting forever for a slice of toast or engligh muffin. Amazon price was the lowest, especially with the free shipping.

Comment: This is a great toaster oven. It toasts and broils very well. I have not used it for baking yet. It has nice broiler and baking pans.

Summary: DeLonghi DO400 Toaster oven 2008-08-13
Comment: Received this product about a month ago and have really enjoyed it so far.
Would highly recommend over the cheaper products found at retailers for around $20.....its worth the difference.
So far the only complaint (not really) is that the default setting for toast is too high and tends to burn around the edges. The correction is simply a matter of pressing a button and lowering the default setting.

Summary: burnt toast, annoying beep 2008-08-08
Comment: This oven has the potential to be really cool but two things bugged me enough to return it. First, one or two pieces of toast on the lowest setting came out partially burnt. Two, how has no one mentioned the annoying beep on every push of a button? It's a nice size and looks great, but if you'd like to use it as a toaster, don't go with this one.

Summary: Finally-after 3 returns! 2008-08-06
Comment: We had a Black & Decker Classic toaster oven for 15 years before it quit. Having said that, don't run out and buy Black & Decker now - you'll waste your money. We bought and returned two of them, as well as a Farberware toaster oven. This DeLonghi toaster oven is amazing. The door closes firmly, there are no plastic knobs to break off - it's all push button and works like a charm. It costs more but, trust me, it's well worth the difference.
