Comment: Chose this to accommodate longer slices of bread. Who knew you could have bread perfectly toasted, edge to edge, the first time...four slices at a time? Loved it so much, I bought a second one for our vacation home. Highly recommend Haier stainless steel long slot 4 slice digital toaster.

Comment: Toaster looks great on my counter and is very durable. However we struggle to get consistent toasting. I love the warming bar and the lights to tell you what's happening.

Comment: I bought this toaster after reading lukewarm reviews on a variety of brands. This one is sleeker and more modern than many other models. There is a little lever used to lift the hot toast further out of the toaster. The footprint of the model is fairly small, it seems very modern with the blue lights, and it makes a decent slice of toast.

I recently purchased this toaster and it was one of my best purchases. The ease of use and the consistency of browning makes this a top notch toaster. The appearance is very clean and slick. Love the top warming rack and the uplift to get smaller pieces of toast out of the hot toaster with ease.

Summary: WE HAVE HOPE! 2010-07-20
Comment: This is our third Haier digital toaster. Our daughter gave us our first one many years ago (1996 or so) when we retired to the Outer Banks. It worked along nicely and then after a few problems, flung it's innards about the kitchen and died. We had liked it, and since it had worked for more than ten years, we bought a new one. But, this one went into collapse within two weeks. However, we felt that perhaps we had not read the rules, and so we invested in - "Haier Digital Toaster III." So far, we like it just fine.
