I have no clue what the other reviewer could possibly be talking about. This oven is phenomenal! Not only does it accommodate six slices of bread, it will cook a whole 12" pizza! I am not having ANY problems with any door pins. It is quiet as a mouse, whether in regular or convection mode. The fan isn't noisy. The dials are not on an angle. The coating does not come off when I remove the racks for cleaning. I'll bet that post was written by a jealous competitor! I LOVE mine! It was worth every penny. I would buy it again and would not hesitate to give it as a gift. It doesn't even hold a candle to the Black & Decker that I had prior to purchasing this one. This serves the purpose for the most part. For the price I didn't expect much, if I wanted something well built and fancy I would have payed the $200+ dollars. My main issue is temperature. I cooked a potato and it seemed to take an awful long time, so the next time I used the oven I used a BBQ probe thermometer sitting on the rack and it showed 365 when I had it set to 450, temperature reading was on the middle rack which is just below half way. The heating elements consist of 4 straight bars that go across. Two on the top and 2 on the bottom. The top ones are for broiling and toasting, but seem too far apart so toasting takes awhile, but since this my first toaster oven I don't know if is how they all are. 4 of 8 people found the following review helpful: 1)The door pins are to thin for the heavy glass door and broke in the fist week. 2)In convection mode the fan is noisy and sounds like it will brake any day now. 3)The dials sit on a angle and are not seated right and feel like they are waring down with every use. 4)Every time I remove the racks for cleaning and put them back in a-little bit of coating on the sides comes off. |
