Compact but capacious, this all-purpose oven can take the place of a toaster and reduces the need to waste power with a full-size oven. This model features a continuous clean function, 15-minute timer with automatic shutoff, and four settings: fan only, bake/toast, broil, and rapid cook. Rapid cook is the convection oven mode, in which food cooks 33 percent faster than in a regular oven. Baking temperatures range from a low keep warm setting to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. The 12-by-9-inch oven rack holds up to six slices of bread for toasting, and when placed on the lowest of the three rack positions perfectly toasts bagels and English muffins. A baking pan is included that is large enough to hold a roast chicken, and a broiling rack that fits inside the pan can be used to broil hamburgers, fish, hot dogs, and sausages. The easily removable crumb tray should be wiped clean regularly, while the baking rack and pan can be washed in hot, soapy water. With two knobs on the back to keep it slightly away from a wall, the oven measures 18 by 12-1/2 by 9-1/2 inches and features a glass door for convenient viewing. --Ann Bieri
