This review is from: Kalorik TO-25244 Aztec 850-Watt 2-Slice Toaster with Bun-Warming Rack (Kitchen) Keeping this one short. The knob on the front is cheesy and it fell off. It does toast evenly but the settings are pretty high in terms of heat. Be careful or you'll burn your toast. The warmer feature is nice. All in all a solid toaster but it really has a plasticky look to it is all.
Well I have to reevaluate. After a while it turned into careful or not you are likely to burn something and now 4 months into the ownership I had it returned for a refund. The link between the slide and the thing that turns on the heating elements broke. All in all P.O.S. compliant (piece of . . . .) 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Real easy to use and to clean I like the pull out tray it is pulled from the back of toaster instead of in the front at the bottom therfore it doesnt leave crumbs all over when you move it. I really like the fact that on bagel mode the inside burners get hotter than the outside so the inside of bagel gets brown and crisp without burnin the outside. Havent had a chance to use warmer yet. This toaster is an excellant toaster for the money..Highly Recommended........... 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Kalorik TO-25244 Aztec 850-Watt 2-Slice Toaster with Bun-Warming Rack (Kitchen) My wife objected to the color and appearance, but I like the special features that prompted me to buy this item: First, however, I found the heating coils did not give uniform toasting on both sides of the bread slices, the lever is difficult to press downward to switch on the grid, and the crumb pan is quite shallow. Compared with previous toasters I have used/owned, I like the bun-warming rack for crisping hotdog buns and for heating pizza bread sticks. Also I like the button to stop toasting when the setting may be high for the type of bread in the toaster. The slots for bread may be standard, but pan bread slices are a tight fit. Thin slices can slip past the rack that raises and lowers the slice--thereby resting on the crumb pan, difficult to remove. I rarely use the defrost button and the warming button, but I like those features when needed. In spite of the problems noted above, I recommend this toaster. I obtain uniform toasting by using two lower cycles, rotating the slices...Read more |
