Rival 2-Slice Cool Touch Toasters

Now that the kids have left the nest we decided to replace all of our kitchen appliances. This toaster is very light, easy to clean and toasts perfectly every time!

Got this toaster about 6 weeks back and have been using it about 2-3 days per week. I got it on a deal for $13.
For the breads, I usually set the dial at 2 on a 1-6 scale. It toasts both the side well. I haven't tried pop-tarts or bagels, but I don't think it will be an issue.
It is very light, easy to use and has pretty wide slots, can insert two slices of bread or a sliced bagel in one slot, without any effort. However, I have to insert slices sideways because the slots are not deep enough. Though that is not a big issue.
I has a crumb tray which makes cleaning very easy. However the toaster as such is closed from the bottom so I cannot reach inside easily for cleaning, but then you don't need to do that often.
I feel that the design itself is somewhat bulky even for excess slot width. And the cord length is a bit short, would prefer a longer chord.

Overall I am satisfied with it but would consider other designs before buying it second time. But...Read more

Save your time and pass on this one. The toaster that I received didn't work at all. They evidently don't take the time to QA product before shipping. With return postage, this was NO DEAL.
