Rival TT9468G 4-Slice Toast-Excel Toaster

I bought this toaster and found out that regular slices of bread do not fit in the slots. I have to cut off 1/2" off the side of the bread for it to fit. I am talking about breads like orowheat and pepperidge farm. Bad bad toaster..

I purchased this as an upgrade from a 2 slice toaster. I looked at all available models within a certain price range. Not many had good reviews...neither will this one.
The toast does not pop up the whole way. It does not even pop up flush to the top of the slot openings. You have to stick your fingers down in the slots and pinch onto the bread to get it out. And yes, you will burn your fingers as the device is obviously hot. The bread does not toast uniformly. The top half of the bread gets burnt and the bottom half is just barely toasted. I have tried playing with the settings to get this to even out more, to no avail. I would not recommend this toaster to anyone. So far I have only used it with bread, for making toast. Unless you buy some sort of extra tall bread, plan on burning your fingers to get your toast out of this toaster.
