Including a 240-page cookbook pointing the way to the delights of rotisserie cooking, this kit adds accessories to the Ronco Inventions Showtime indoor rotisserie and BBQ. The cookbook is written especially for the rotisserie, with step-by-step instructions. Also included is a 9-1/2-by-9-1/2-by-2-1/2-inch nonstick wire basket that is deep enough to hold lobster, lots of vegetables, and other foods when it's placed on the rotisserie's spit and slowly turned to roast what's inside. Rounding out the kit is a set of 48 elastic ties to bind meats and poultry, a meat/poultry thermometer, and a lightweight, 8-inch stainless-steel carving knife with a pronged blade for spearing slices. --Fred Brack

Summary: Abysmal to clean 2007-09-30
Comment: Great for poultry et al but a real monster to clean - We do all our chicken in this but the back of it is dirty because it's always getting spattered with the juices and it is so hard to clean in there, although on the bumph that came with it it states that the heating elements are self cleaning - well that's as maybe but the blue cabinet behind the heating elements is so filthy I'm concerned it can't be cleaned and I'll have to chuck it out which would be a huge waste of money!

Comment: I just received my rotisserie. I have used it twice and really love it. Kabob rods didn't come with it and I can't find out where or how to buy some. If anyone knows I would love to hear from you.

Comment: Definitely need the extra basket if you've purchased a Ronco Rotisserie. Elastic ties are a bust. Use regular cotton string off a spool for a better grip.

Comment: Since people seem to be using this as somewhat of a forum, just thought I would let those of you who are wondering that you can buy replacement parts at Ronco.com. I have a Ronco I got for Christmas from my mother-in-law. I thought I would never use but I LOVE it! Never had a better roasted chicken.

Comment: My family and friends love the rotisserie. We have never had so many compliments on diner until we started using the rotisserie.The only problem we have is the guide rail on the right side is broken.This is what holds the glass door in place. We have been unable to find this part.Could you help us in locating a new guide rail for the right side of the unit. Also we have most of the accessories but we are out of the strings to wrap meat. Do you sell only these strings.
