It is Christmas morning and we are getting ready for family to come over.
Without being touched or on this toaster short circuited and burst into flames. My wife shouted and I came running and unplugged the toaster and threw it into the snow. After examination the electical board short circuited and caused the fire. Do Not Buy this toaster and from now on I will always unplug unused appliances.

This is probably the worst toaster I've ever used. From this toaster you either get burned bread or untoasted bread, depending on how long you can withstand the nervous feeling that your house is going to burst into flames. I wish I were kidding. From the second you push the toast down, it smells like burning. An entire piece of bread doesn't even fit into the slot, and there will always be a portion of the slice sticking out the top (even with the smallest cuts of bread). Currently, I have this toaster on the lowest setting. About 30 seconds of toasting burns it to a crisp and leaves you with that lovely burnt toast smell.
Seriously folks, don't buy this toaster. It's a huge waste of money and will probably burn your house/apartment/trailer down if you use it.

I bought toaster hoping for the same quality that Sunbeam used to have...deliciously toasted bread. This does not toast evenly...the bottom toasted, the top not so well. The controls don't work as well as I would like. I am now searching for one that actually works as you would expect. I will look closely at reviews before I buy my next one.
