T-Fal 53970 Thick & Thin Two Slice Toaster

Featuring a warming rack for buns, rolls, and croissants, this two-slice, 850-watt toaster comes in handy at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Pressing a button raises the rack, which consists of two wavy chrome wires, above the toaster's slots, where bread items can heat on one side and then the other. The slots measure 5-1/8 by 1-1/8-inches, large enough to accommodate thick bread, bagels, and English muffins, and a lever raises small items extra high for safe removal. There's one button on the front for toasting bagels on the cut side only and another button for increasing the toasting time of frozen items so they defrost first. Seven electronically controlled settings permit precise browning according to personal preference. The toaster is clad in hard, bright white plastic, has chrome slots, and measures 6 inches wide, 7-1/2 inches high, and 10-1/4 inches deep.
