Comment: Sadly, each side of the four slots toasts VERY unevenly. The reason for this is the heating elements haven't been threaded and spaced properly. It's a quality control issue I've come to expect from Chinese products. We'll probably just live with it since I don't expect it to last more than a year or two.

The design however is fantastic, which is why I'm giving it two stars instead of none. It takes up much space, yes, but it's a show stopper. I get more complements on this thing than my new Subzero. Also glad I followed another reviewer's advice and ordered black instead of white--agree completely.

LESSON LEARNED: In the future, I will, no matter how painful, buy European. European manufacturing always leaves me amazed by its quality and indestructibility. This toaster is a beautiful piece of furniture. If only it had been assembled by a Swede.

Comment: I always wondered how some of the breakfast places could have such perfect toast? Well, I think I know the secret...buy a decent toaster! For decades, I've put up with inferior toasters. I finally splurged and bought a, hopefully good toaster. Voila', this makes great toast and bagels. The temperature controls are actually accurate. What a concept! I also like the way I can use the one gizmo to lift the toast even higher once I want to retrieve the finished pieces. Yeah, I like it!

Comment: I like nice things and things that not everyone has. This toaster is not anything that is going to turn the toasting world upside down, but it is a nice toaster and does the job well. Its nice enough that it can be left out and most people comment on it how nice it looks. It is bigger than it appears in the pictures, but not a problem if you have plenty of space. I love it.

Comment: I received the toaster very swiftly. I am okay with the way it looks also. However, it would burn half and not toast the other half of a piece of bread even at the lower settings which makes it un-usable. The return policy was very short and I missed the deadline. So now i have to send it to the manufacturer. But at this point, i would like to just get a refund. I don't want the hassle of getting it repaired. I would like my money back.

Comment: After buying toaster after toaster and being sorely disappointed in each and every one of them, I've finally found THE toaster. I love this toaster and though a lot of reviews state that it's big, it's no wider than any 4 slice toaster I've had...and it certainly does fit in well with my stainless steel appliances.

I LOVE this toaster, there is not one thing about it that I don't love.

If you've been searching high and low for a toaster that toasts perfectly and you don't have to wait forever for that toast......this is the one to buy.
