Summary: impractical features 2006-11-29
Comment: Problems we had with this toasteroven are
1. you can't adjust the time when toasting bread but have to enter the number of slices. So when toasting 2 slices of bread, the 2slice setting was not brown enough and the 3 slice setting burns the toast!!
2. the oven settings are predetermined so you can't make any finer adjustments to the temperature
3. the size: its huge!!! I've had the oven for 3 months but not used the warming feature once... also though the oven is fairly big for a table top model, its not big enough to put a baking dish in.
4. the distance between the bottom two shelves is predetermined and way too close together so all you can place on the bottom shelf with the top one in place is a slice of toast..
we previously had a black and decker toasteroven which was compact and practical.. This one has a lot of bells and whistles on at the cost of some practical features..

Summary: Great little oven 2006-02-05
Comment: We bought this oven during our kitchen remodel and we love it. We've made everything from frozen pizzas to frittatas in it and it's cooked everything perfectly. The convection heat is what makes this oven so much better than a cheapy toaster oven. It will be a little on the large side when we put it on our new countertops, but I've decided to get rid of my old toaster since it toasts bread and frozen waffles so perfectly anyway.
