Product Review
Amazon.com Review

With a removable stainless-steel liner pan for easy cleanup, this toaster oven advances the convenience of countertop toasting, broiling, baking, and rewarming one step further. Just pull the liner out and wipe it clean or place it in the dishwasher. The 1,400-watt toaster oven has a broiler setting and a thermostat that heats up to 425 degrees. A separate set of controls adjusts for toasting, and there's a 2-hour timer for controlling cooking. Roomy enough inside for six slices of toast, a 9-inch pie, or an 11-by-7-inch baking pan, the toaster oven measures 19-3/4 inches wide, 11-3/4 inches high, and 12-1/2 inches deep overall, and its hard plastic exterior remains cool during operation. Included with the toaster oven is a baking/broiling pan with a removable broiler rack. It carries a one-year warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

Summary: best ever toaster oven 2008-09-25
Comment: My next purchase will be my third toaster oven of this model. I hope I can still find it. We just wore out the first two. We have never had any breaking glass and the removable liner makes cleaning up so easy. I know of no other brand that has this feature. It bakes broils and toasts just about everything. I am very surprised by all the negative reviews.
We have found it to be easy to use and easy to clean.

Summary: Do not buy! 2004-03-22
Comment: This is the worst "toaster" ever. We received it as a gift and not a month later, Consumer Reports published an article deeming this model unacceptable and a fire hazard. Sure enough, it burns anything that it comes into contact with. We have found that by keeping it on the lightest setting, it does ok (pop tart setting).
Then today, the handle fell off! Turns out it's held in place by heat glue which means - yup, you guessed it - it gets soft whenever we use the toaster.
I'm keeping my eye out for a recall.

Summary: Worse toaster ever 2003-10-10
Comment: I bought this toaster to replace my old Toastmaster oven thinking the digital timer is great and the concept of a removeable liner is a novel idea. As it turns out, these are all just gimmicks which do not provide any real functionality. First of all, like all the reviews posted, this oven will burn your toast. Timer feature is worse of all. Like the title, it's just a timer that you can barely hear when it's set off. Even my $2 timer works better than this. It does not automatically shut the oven off (except when you are in the toast setting and the timer is disabled). Most of the time the food burn because when the timer goes off, but the oven is still on. Secondly, the liner insert is difficult to clean and it's so cheaply made that it won't even hold on the weight of the lasagna or other casserole dishes. I've had the entire rack falling on top of the bottom heating elements because the rack could not support the normal weight of a baking dish. In conclusion, this is a worthless pile of junk and I'd go back to the traditional toaster before buying anything like this again.

Summary: Worst toaster oven I have ever owned 2003-08-22
Comment: I was attracted to this oven by the easy clean insert. This toaster oven really doesn't need it because it burns everything, who can use it. I have other toast master products and haven't had a problem. I think a recall would be in order on this one. The reason I'm here today is to buy a new toaster oven, and it won't be another one of these!

Summary: great toaster oven! 2003-07-06
Comment: hmm.. after reading all the negative fdback on this baby, i had to leave fdback

ive have mine for over 2 yrs & i love it!
ive had no problems with mine & purchased it brand new online

i havent had any problems with cleaning (sooo easy, all i do is stick everthing in the dishwasher! the liner is somewhat of a squeeze but i put it where the silverware holder is made to go & move the silverware holder for that load to the back)

mine toasts & bakes everything perfectly- i just put it in for 20 minute timer & always make sure to check on it or stay near by, once the aromas start hitting your hungry belly its almost done or done i just turn the dial to off & start munching away.

i always make chicken nuggets & the fries come out nice & crispy (unlike using a microwave-yucky mush)
i also use it to toast sandwiches
we rarely eat toast in the morning (we're cereal eaters =) )

the only con is the inside frame area the window sits on got tanned and wont come off even with hard rubbing- but i guess that would be expected since its high temps & meant to toast everything
also crumbs get caught in the area where the window area hinges onto the toaster oven- when its cool/off i cover a knife with a washcloth & slide it back and forth a few times to push the crumbs out

mine hasnt smoked nor has the glass shattered- but ill be making sure my 18 mo old son isnt anywhere near it while its on since several ppl have mentioned it happening to them
