Summary: Fantastic Bread and Bagel Toaster 2007-10-05
Comment: I bought this nice 2-slice toaster for about $12.00 about 3 weeks ago after suffering for over a year with an expensive Cuisinart RBT-28PC 4-slice unit. We really did not need the 4-slice capacity but at the time we bought it, it seemed like a good idea and felt that Cuisinart was a good name and would make good toast. Boy, was that a wrong assumption! It has many options for setting the toasting but no matter what options were selected, every time it was used, the toast would be uneven and both sides would not be toasted the same or would be burned. After getting this Toastmaster 2-slice unit, it was like the good old days when toasters did the job right without all the phoney options. We are very happy with its simplicity and quality of toast for breads of all types and sizes and for bagels. You should be able to find one by a search of Toastmaster Corp website, or Google or by visiting a Super WalMart (not the website) if Amazon does not have it.
