Summary: Disappointing 2008-12-07
Comment: I bought this item at a going-out-of-business sale for half price, so I'll live with it for awhile, but the design of this toaster makes it impossible to make toast that is evenly browned on both sides. It also burns one side unless set at the very lowest setting. I haven't tried it with bagels or english muffins yet, so perhaps they will work better. But, for basic toast, we have to flip the slices half way through the cycle. What a pain! I didn't have overly high expectations, but I did hope for a toaster that could make decent ordinary toast!

Summary: Don't buy this toaster 2008-10-26
Comment: This toaster had problems right out of the box. It never did toast evenly. Then, after about 8 months, it stopped working altogether. I make toast maybe twice a week, so it was used very lightly. It really deserves a zero star rating.
