Summary: Toaster Oven 2008-12-16
Comment: It broke shortly after we bought it. The manufacturer was very helpful in replacing it. However several months later (after the warantee was up) some feature don't work. It has great room but because it is large, it take some time for toast to get cooked.

Summary: Great!!! but........ 2007-01-15
Comment: I have had my TOV 211 oven for about 3 yrs. I loved it very much! the best I have ever had! But......all of a sudden it stopped. my husband took it apart to fix it, and it had two fans that we think went out, because it would be on then while pre-heating, then turn off all of a sudden as if it got too hot---but he couldn't get the fans out to see if he could get a replacement. he couldn't unless he took it alllll apart and by then it would be hard to put back together. The company didn't help me at all. Customer service wasn't any help when I called, and the company didn't even return my e-mail. I want anyother one, but my husband doesn't think it is worth it. Our last one lasted sooo long. I think it was black and decker. I don't think they make them like they used to. I guess we are a "throw-away" society--not our fault, its the manufactuers. Maybe my husband will give it one more try. It has the best features of any of them on the market!!!

Summary: Would I buy this again? 2007-01-14
Comment: I loved this toaster oven, until it stopped working after I had it for just a couple of years. My previous one laster 10 years. I contacted the consumer relations dept., but they could not help me. They didn't even offer for me to send it back and to be sent another one in its place. I e-mailed the company 2 months ago, but never heard back. I don't think I will ever buy a toastmaster again.

Summary: Elements burnt out after 14 months 2006-06-29
Comment: Owned this toaster oven for 14 months when all of the bottom heating elements burnt out and the top ones are going too. There is no way to repair it, and the 12 month warranty is expired, so have to trash it. I do not recommend purchasing this item.

Summary: Love My Toastmaster 2006-03-26
Comment: Just purchased this Toaster Convection Oven about two weeks ago to replace our Russell Hobbs unit. Had purchase the Russell Hobbs several years ago as a gift to my wife who loves to cook and is very good at it. We both loved our Russell Hobbs and were disappointed when it died.
Before running out and buying another toaster oven, I decided to search the web for options and customer reviews. I was surprised to see how different brands received so many negative reviews. I also discovered that Toastmaster appears to be the American brand of Russell Hobbs (which is the international brand name)! I can't prove that, but compare the Russell Hobbs to the Toasmaster and the units are identical, except for the price! The international brand is more expensive.
Anyway, I purchased the Toastmaster and we couldn't be happier with it! My wife made broiled Swordfish in it the first night (we didn't even know how to properly use the oven yet) and it came out wonderful!
I use it mostly for regular toast, bagels, waffels, etc and noticed that they recommend placing the rack towards the bottom of the oven. Personally, this makes no sense to me so I placed the rack where I wanted it (towards the top of the oven) and had perfect toast. Another reason I did it my way was several reviews I read about other toaster ovens complaining that the toast came out baked and dried and took forever. I'm a firm believer of reading the instructions on everything I buy, but experience is the best teacher!
I haven't tried the pizza option yet because I prefer pizzeria pizza to frozen brands, but eventually I'll try it just out of curiosity. Although I'll probably make my own pizza rather than use a frozen one!
Spend the time to research different brand names and use common sense with any brand you buy. I highly recommend the Toastmaster brand!
