Comment: If you are just starting out in life and are on a limited budget, this toaster oven will get your through. It can do the small jobs, like toasting a sub sandwich and such. However, it probably won't last more than a few years. I don't have many complains with mine. The size is great and the price was right at the time. If it survives all the way through college, I will use thing thing until it dies. All in all, if you're just starting out, this would be a good buy. But if you have the money, pay a little more for a better one.

Summary: Unbeatable at this price !! 2003-06-26
Comment: This toaster oven is very sufficinet for our normal needs. Unless I have to bake in large quantitis or broil something bigger, this is perfect. It toasts the bread and bagels evenly. Broils nicely. I even bake small cakes in this and they come out perfect. After buying this I have not yet used my bigger oven. It's very easy to clean and does not create lot of mess. It's size makes it quite portable. And for the price at which it is offered,I don't think any other toaster can beat it in it's performance.

Summary: This Toaster is DANGEROUS, should be RECALLED 2003-05-17
Comment: When our Black and Decker finally died, we purchased the TTOB4 because it was so inexpensive. A few weeks after we used the TTOB4, we found that several power cords from other appliances had melted against the back of the toast oven. This left bare metal exposed and could lead to an electrocution or fire! Do not allow anything behind this oven! Now I have to fix three power cords. In my opinion, Toastmaster should recall this product immediately. Otherwise, the biggest problem we have is that the timer must be set every time you use the toaster. Since the timer scale resolution is too small, you can never get consistent toasting results. It also seems slower at toasting than the B&D.

Summary: Great for the price 2003-05-15
Comment: I wouldn't recommend using it as a toaster, but as a small warmer or broiler it works fine. Great for the price. We use it to heat up things that we don't want to get soggy in the microwave. Better than heating up a huge oven when you are trying to make freedom fries or something like that.

Summary: Poorly Made (Piece of Poop anyone?) 2003-04-13
Comment: I purchase this as a replacement for my Black and Decker toaster oven and thought I would never see a product as cheap as the Black and Decker. I was wrong. The handle is plastic and is held onto the glass door by GLUE. Yes, glue. What happens when glue gets hot -right, it melts and then the handle falls off when you open the oven. Also, it has a "toast" button which starts the broiler. This has never worked properly and shuts off after about 20 seconds no matter whether you put it on light or dark toast. Works o.k. if you stand there while toasting and repress the button every 20 seconds. If that weren't enough there is more. The whole inner surface pulls out for cleaning purposes. Sounds like a great idea? It's not. When you pull the rack out to get you food out the whole inner lining of the oven comes out. You basically need three mittened hands to get the food out - one to open the door when the handle falls of the other to hold the inside of the oven in place and the third to pull the rack out! I hope you have better luck than me.
