Amazon.com Review
Great for a family on the go, this 21st-century appliance combines convection, radiant, and conduction heating for super-fast cooking. French fries, pizza, and chicken nuggets heat up in just eight minutes, chicken wings in 10, and cinnamon rolls in only four. Key to the speed is an 11-by-8-1/4-inch wire basket that holds the food and permits the convection fan to circulate air completely around it. Foods that are normally deep-fried--like french fries and chicken wings--emerge crisp and flavorful. Steaks, hamburgers, and fish cook in minutes without oil. An electronic control panel includes crisping and browning options. (One caution: the outside of the oven heats up during operation.) For cleaning ease, the basket and drip tray are dishwasher-safe. An instruction booklet offers recipes and cooking-time guides for fresh and frozen foods. The 1,400-watt oven measures 18-1/2 inches wide, 11-1/4 inches high, and 12 inches deep and carries a one-year warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

Summary: Bad Product 2008-09-04
Comment: The main and important problem for this product is that it generates too much heat when use. You will feel a lot of excessive heat from the toaster. I used it twice and have to quit using it for safty concern reason. I do not want any of my kids use it when I am not around. So, this product has been siting in my basement since I bought it. The bad part is I cannot sell it to anyone with my good consious about the safty. I totally waste my money on this product.

Summary: USE IT LIKE A BB-Q 2008-06-13
Comment: This little oven made it about 1 week in my kitchen...Too : messy, noisy, hard to clean,etc.,etc....However in the garage it's the best oven in the world...(Once you figure out the cooking times for different foods)No odors, smoke, heat, are in the house, mess cleanups are easier in the garage, just spray the tray with oven cleaner and rinse with a garden hose, for interior I use a 1" putty knife and elbow grease, not unlike how you clean your outdoor BB-Q(plus your wife isn't watching you every second).I've cooked about every type of meat (best if thawed in the micro-wave first though)including Fillet Mignon and they turned out great!I've also cooked fries, chicken nuggets, vegs, biscuits, pizza, bread, you name it,I've tried it,most worked a few didn't..you just need to experiment. It's my favorite cooking method period!Just don't forget it's a Garage cooker...and you will be happy...

Summary: Countertop Ultravection Oven 2008-03-20
Comment: This has been a great little oven for us. It cooks in half the time if you use just the grate as it heats from both the top and the bottom. If you're not into cleaning the unit after each use, just cover the grate with some aluminum foil and it still cooks fast. Way more efficient than firing up the oven in your range, and much faster too.

Summary: I wouldn't be without it... 2007-04-08
Comment: I bought this oven over two years ago and for a long time used it only for packaged frozen food that wouldn't get the inside of the oven that messy. One day I had wanted to cook a couple of steaks on the charcoal grill but it was just too cold outside. Figuring this little oven might as well, by now, be used for something other than pizza and such, (by the way, it does make a great pizza - just cut it in half before cooking), I threw in 2 frozen T-bones that were hard as rocks. In 13 minutes I had some of the best steaks I have had in a long time, and the center was still red, just how I like it. Most of all, the flavor was wonderful. I have never used or needed foil in my drip tray. It cleans out very easily. I wipe down the inside of the oven as needed and its not a big chore. If this little oven ever gives out on me I hope they are still available as I will definitely want another one. I highly recommend this over any other broiler on the market. It is a great product.

Summary: Not stylish or quiet but cooks like a dream 2006-04-26
Comment: We love the Ultravection Oven. We recently spent a small fortune on a new kitchen and purchased a convection microwave thinking that it would replace this unit, but we found that we had to pull this out of storage because we missed it. Perfect reheated pizza, awesome tater tots, hash browns, hot dogs, steaks, chops, open faced sandwiches. The unit looks and sounds like it was built behind the iron curtain, but fortunately it performs like a dream.
