Not great for cookies,

I bought this oven to make cookies for my start-up cookie business, but so far, it's not been working very well. Some cookies are burned and others raw. The instructions say to rotate the pans halfway through -- which is annoying -- but that doesn't really solve the problem either. On a half-size sheet pan, you can usually get 4 or 5 rows of cookies and the rows in the middle are raw while the outside rows are dark on the outside edge (closest to the fan in back). Unless you rotated each individual cookie, you won't be able to get even browning. I'll keep trying, but so far, this has been a big disappointment and waste of a lot of money.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I am a dedicated home cook and wear out most things that are only made for the normal home use. So when I wanted to replace my smaller convection oven I went to the commercial level.
What a joke!!
I have 6 years of professional kitchen experience and there is no way this would last a week. The temperature wildly fluctuates on the hot side and as mentioned by the above person this does not cook even which is the whole idea on using a convection oven for pastry. The seals broke within a month. It gets so hot that it sets off the smoke alarm.
I use this for things that don't require any accuracy, which does not include any pastry, breads or (as mentioned above) cookies and broiling. Even the rotisserie cooks so hot that it has been difficult to cook even chicken.
I could have gotten some thing just as worthless for a whole lot cheaper.

Disappointed,

I purchased this oven for our move to Taiwan knowing that ovens are very hard to find here. This was the largest countertop oven that I could find. I knew the Waring name and I felt confident that it would be a good product. But I have had the same problem as others with uneven baking. Most of the time I have to stand by the oven to try to prevent burning. Then the door gasket broke after 6 months of use. I contacted Waring and was informed that I had no warranty because I took the oven out of the US. What! I didn't expect them to fly my oven back to the US but how about a little customer service. I was told that I could: 1. bring the oven back to the US and take it to a service center (try to explain that to the TSA) OR 2. I could BUY a replacement gasket. As tactfully as I could I asked that they provide the replacement gasket and provided my US address. Well, they agreed to that but along with that came this terse email: "We can send you the door gasket to the ID address.....if...Read more
