West Bend 78004 4-Slice Toaster, Stainless Steel

The Toaster looks very nice, but it doesn't do any better than any others I have.
On large pieces of bread, it doesn't allow the bread to be completely into the toaster.
Depending on the bread, sometimes it is light and sometimes it is dark.
It takes a lot of time to toast the bread also.

When perusing toaster selections, ask yourself this very important question: "do I like toast?" If that's the question you're asking, you are looking at the wrong toaster. If, on the other hand, you're looking for a way to pad out your day and spend a few minutes longer in the break room (to avoid all of that bothersome work), then you have found yourself a very wise investment... unless you like toast (toast is pretty overrated).

My office has purchased two of these. Not at the same time, but a few years apart, despite the fact that it fails to actually toast anything. Though there is a "CAUTION: SURFACE HOT" embossing by the slots, this is more of a whimsical joke by the designers (zing!) than a real warning (sort of like a "CAUTION: Seth's Room" sign on your son's bedroom door). Do I like toast? You're darn tootin' I do! Who wouldn't love to own this baby? Works fast and has just the right amount of choices to manage all your breading needs & eating habits any time during the day or night. This toaster isn't just for the 'office clones' who have quit smoking. The very same office clones who now waste the day hanging around the break room while others do their work for them. I hear this every day: Hey man, did you see the game last night? That's a nice tie you're wearing Scotty. Say, did you gain some weight over the weekend? Oh no, I mean it looks GREAT on you! If you hear this every darn day at work, well then, this is the right toaster for you! I love my 78004 toaster so much that I went out and purchased one for my car. I had to buy a 2500w DC / AC converter, but what's the big deal about that?
